Just had a few days on the camp site. Staff very pleasant as usual, and all facilities in good working order. Chemical toilet point tap frozen but water available from pot wash with supplied bucket.
Much busier than last New Year Day. The course has good facilities for food and country wear. There is plenty of room to park and six races made for a good time.
Would not recommend.Had to pay 10 to get into a small muddy enclosure . And then 8 to upgrade.just to get a slightly better view of the course.Then found out there was only 6 races.where as everywhere else has a 7 race card. And a maximum of 6 runners in a race.Thought it was a dog show as there were so many dogs allowed in and barking around the parade ring. Thought new years day would of been the hi light of their calendar. I would hate to go on a normal race day.
Great little place to watch racing, cant eat or drink in the stands, but good price and good views in a beautiful setting of Norfolk countryside. Loads of food outlets and totes, and the bar is warm and serves lots of local beers
This is a brilliant place. I have enjoyed my days at the races but sadly I will not be able to attend this event anymore as the organisation I volunteer for has sadly lost the contract and will be covered by payed staff. But thank you team for your friendly faces, brilliant conversation and brilliant team work
