The opthalmicians are very knowledgeable and helpful, that's sadly more than can be said of the myriad of sales assistances miandering around downstairs, trying their best to ignore you.

The actual optician was lovely. However came out to pick glasses, was told someone would be over soon! What a joke, 30mins later still no-one helps, I wouldn't have minded if they were busy but one l man seemed to be looking after someone, whereas two women were chatting so after 30 mins waiting (for someone with a spinal injury feels like hours standing!) I left with no glasses, and was just starred at as I went out! What an absolute waste of time! Now in agony and never going back to the fakenham store! If I wanted to hear what people got up to at the weekend I'd go in, however if you go into back opticians expected glasses I'd go somewhere else! Any recommendations?
This Fakenham store is a fiasco!! Changed to the store a year ago as it was convenient location. Had no problem with Norwich store which I have now gone back too. Fakenham have an answer phone and do not pick up. They also do not respond to messages so do not come back to you. They cocked up my lens mail which should have been delivered 1st May and I am still waiting. They are over staffed with personel rushing about but obviously getting no where. My lens prescription is wrong but they beg to differ. Dereham and Norwich excellent stores and staff. Fakenham? Give it a big miss.
